MORROW – Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Plymouth Rock Missionary Baptist Church, 162 Plymouth Rock Loop in Morrow, LA for Mr. Vera Mary Malveaux, 87, who entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Tri-Community Nursing Home in Palmetto, LA. Interment will be in Little Rock Missionary Baptist Cemetery in Bunkie, LA.
Bishop Leon Figgins will be officiating the funeral service.
Mr. Malveaux leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of 45 years, Elnoria Scott Malveaux, no children to this union; eight prior children, Valeria Mae, Freddie, Richard, Cynthia, Lillian, Kenneth, Douglas and Jessica; three stepdaughters, Cecilia, Constance and Veronica; two stepsons, Glenn and Paul; six sisters, Adeline Young (Ronald) of Missouri City, TX, Velma Revis (Wayne), Lendy Malveaux, both of Houston, TX, Edna Malveaux of Rancho Cucamonga, CA., Avia Holmes of Port Arthur, TX, Kerry Wright (VL) of Baton Rouge, LA; along with a host of numerous Godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Mr. Malveaux was preceded in death by: his parents, Avia Pearl Malveaux and Max Malveaux, Sr.; three brothers; and four sisters.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Plymouth Rock Missionary Baptist Church.
