Homegoing Services for Mrs. Mary Anita Hammond Cooper, of Decatur, will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022, 9:00 A.M. at The Chapel of Donald Trimble Mortuary. Reverend Jesse L. Gordon, Chaplain, Officiating. Interment, Lincoln Cemetery, Atlanta, GA.

She leaves to cherish her memories, 2 daughters, Nikola Danyale Cooper, Shayla Kamauria Cooper; 7 sisters, Rachel Hammond Redwine, Mildred Hammond (Daniel), Shirleye McCombs King, Taffie Jean Kirby, Elwonda Hammond, Pamela Ware, Sonya Hammond; 4 brothers, Carl Hammond, Juloan Hammond, Timothy Hammond, Raymond Hammond; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the mortuary Saturday, at 8:30 A.M.

So sorry to hear if Mary's passing. She was truly a beautiful person. I temperature seeing her occasionally atat the shopping center on Flat Shoals (or at New Life with Mother Cooper Maurice. Judge Cooper and family. We always had a long conversation of friends/ family from Rome, Ga. Praying God's strength and comfort to Nikki. Shayla, Rachel and all family. God is with you. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for your loss. My condolences to the family. I met Mary when her daughter, Shayla was a student in my second-grade class at Chapel Hill Elementary School. We became good friends from then on. She was a devoted and loving parent to Nikki and Shayla. Mary was a great person, good friend and a very caring person. She will truly be missed.
