Obituary For Billy Ray Hurst, Sr

Billy Ray Hurst Sr., 76, passed away peacefully in his sleep Sunday October 23rd, 2022.

Preceded in death by Father Charlie Hurst, Mother Vearl Hurst, Juanita Hurst, Grandaughter Lisa Mell, Brothers; Charles, Paul, Doug, and David Hurst, and Son Joseph Hurst. Survived by Daughters Shelia Hipps, Lillie (Tiny) Faulkner (Dan), Sons Billy Hurst Jr., Nathan Hurst. Grandchildren Morgan Mell (Symone), Chucky Mell (Cassey), Alice Hurst, Joe Hurst, Jonathan Hurst, and Travis Hurst. Great Grandchildren Seth Mell, and Olivia Mell. Brother James Hurst, and many nephews and nieces.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Erwin Health Care Center for taking great care of Mr. Hurst. There will be a receiving of friends will be at Unity Mortuary 1425 McCalla Ave. Knoxville Tn, 37915 on Friday November 4th from 6-7pm services to follow immediately after at 7pm. Bro. Michael Carter officiating. Graveside at Mt Olive Cemetery 2500 Maryville Pike Knoxville Tn, 37820 Saturday November 5th at 3:00p.m. A dove release will conclude the service.
