Mr. Raymond Leflore, Sr. was born in Carthage in Carthage, Mississippi on March 11, 1958, to the late Louis and Sadie (Wilder) Leflore. Raymond confesses his love for Christ at an early age and attended Christian Union M.B. Church.

On September 26, 1981, Raymond married the love of his life Sherry Sparkman to this union two children were born.

Raymond received his formal education at Thomastown Attendance Center. He Later worked for Monroe Allen Construction Company where he received his license as a certified heavy equipment operator. He later worked for Leake County Board of Supervisors until he became disabled.

He cherished people that were elderly, lonely or disabled and because of this he. his wife and daughter began The Senior Community Outreach Project an organization where he devoted much time and attention. He was a humble man that loved to help brighten someone's day.

On October 19, 2022, at 9:35 a.m., the Lord seen that his child had become weary weary and dispatched his Angels of tender mercy and called his child home.

He is preceded in death by his parents and (4) brothers Louis Leflore, Jr., Luke Leflore, James Leflore, Thomas Leflore and (3) Sisters, Louise Henry, Zella Griffin, and Ann Ferrell.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his loving and devoted wife of 41 years, Sherry Sparkman Leflore. (1) son, Raymond Don'Yail Leflore(Cora), (1) Daughter ,DeAnne Mar,kale Leflore-- Sanders (Dalvin) Nine Grandchildren, Jamari, Breion, Ray' Mir, RayAaveoen, Jaliegha, JaQuavius, Regin, D.J. Semora Leflore all of Carthage.(1) Brother, Ollie Leflore and (2), Queen Ester Wilder (Bubba) and Faye Johnson all of Carthage (4) Sister in laws, Starry Smith (Fitzgerald), Carthage, MS Robbie Smith (Eddie) Madison, MS MS; Barbara Vivans KIng, Milwaukee. WI and(2) Brothers in laws, Terry Wayne Sparkman (Brownie) Carthage, MS, Thurman McGee, Detroit, MI

A precious Dod Daughter and God Son, Shavetta Leflore and CAlvin Leflore and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
