He attended the public-school systems of Hillsborough County. He worked as a general laborer in construction for many years. Mr. Ransom has also once lived in the state of California and Tennessee. He was well known in the Keystone community and will be missed by many.
His life's journey ended on the morning of October 17, 2022. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Mr. Peter Ransom, Sr. and Mrs. Carrie Bell (Ellis) Ransom; 2 brothers, George Stroud, Sr. and Ephriam Ransom, Sr. Mr. Cleave “Teddy” Ransom leaves to cherish his memories.... 1 daughter, Vanessa Ransom; 1 son, Terrick Ransom; 1 step-son, Malcolm Hepburn; 4 grandchildren, Teddrick Dampier (Tracy) Otis Dampier, Minqui Natiel (Marquise), Kashay Natiel; 7 great- grandchildren, Teddriyanna Dampier, Otis Dampier Jr., Teddrick Dampier Jr., Torrien Dampier, Romeo Jackson-Dampier, Xazzura Hill, Xavion Charlton; 4 sisters, Pauline Hall, Beta Ransom, Sophia Kelly (AL); Omega Carolyn Johnson (Arnold); 2 brothers, Alpha Peter Ransom (Junita), Jimmy Ransom; nephews, Blaine Stroud, George Stroud Jr.(Nikki), Sylvester Hall, Ephriam Ransom Jr.(Cindy), Philip Ransom, Mario Ransom, Anthony Irvin, Rennix Ransom, Labranne Matthew McQuay, David Spring, Jamie Ransom; nieces, Sharon Ransom, Valarie Ransom (Ricky), Sybil McNeil (Aaron), Alphia Ransom, Jennifer Ivory, Rennae Ransom, Raven McClure (Eric), Frances McDowell (Renzo), Ebony Ransom and a host of grand-nieces, grand-nephews and cousins; Special Friends: Reginald Madison, Merita Davis, Michelle Lester, Nathaniel Lowman, Dr. Rose Campbell Wesley, Mary Isom. Visitation will be held on Friday, 6-8 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7 th Ave. Tampa. Family and Friends are asked to assemble at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday at the church.
