Obituary For Jeanette Jones

OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mrs. Jeanette Jones, 63, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at her residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in True Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery in Plaisance, LA.

Rev. Gerald Toussaint will be officiating the funeral service.

Mrs. Jones’ memories are being cherished by: her son, Terrance Jones of Houston, TX; three daughters, Ronesha Felix of Baytown, TX, Lindsey Jones of Crosby, TX and Tiffany Jones of Houston, TX; one brother, Michael (Shonda) Thomas of Opelousas, LA; four sisters, Patsy Thomas of Opelousas, LA, Edna Malveaux (Lionel) of Missouri City, TX, Rose Richard (Ronald) of Ville Platte, LA and Debra Harrison (Oscar) of Zachary, LA; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her husband, Junius Jones; Sr.; her parents, Clarence and Rose Lee Young Thomas, Sr.; one brother, Clarence Thomas, Jr.; and one sister, Cynthia Thomas.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
