Mr. John C. Gibbs, Jr. age 85 of Maiden, North Carolina transitioned on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Carolina Caring, Newton, North Carolina.

He was born in Catawba County, North Carolina on August 1, 1937 to the late John Crawford Gibbs and Bertha Finger Gibbs. He attended public school at Rosenwald High School, he was a self employed Arborist.

Funeral service is Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 2:00 pm in White’s Family Chapel with burial to follow in Maiden Chapel Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. There will be a public walk through on Friday at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until 6:30 pm
