Obituary For Frank E. Grant

Frank Edward Grant was born February 5, 1943, in Henry County, Virginia to the late Howard Grant and the late Maggie Jones Grant. He departed his life on October 14, 2022.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lizzie Mae Grant, and Mary M. Grant, four brothers, Jerome, Nathaniel (wine), Willie Lee (Boo) and Howard Grant.

He received his education in the Henry County School system. Frank received his certificate of Ordination Deacon in August 1991 and was a faithful member of Mt. Pisgah Joyland Temple Church until his health decline. He was employed by Hooker Furniture Corp of Martinsville, VA.

Frank leaves to mourn one sister, Gaynell Dozier, one brother Robert E. Grant both of Martinsville, VA., One Aunt, Bernice Monroe of Axton, VA, and a God son, Amhad J. Petty of Axton, VA, along with a host of Nieces, Nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Frank was a devoted, loving brother, cousin, and friend. He had a kind and gentle spirit; and everyone who knew him loved him. He could always bring a smile to your face. Yes, we will miss him dearly, but memories of him will always remain in our heart.

Visitation service will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022, from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral at 12 p.m. at the C.R.V. Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home with Bishop Boyce White, Eulogist. Burial will follow at the Grant Family Cemetery, 2630 A.L. Philpott Hwy, Axton, VA. Viewing will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Hairston Funeral Home between the hours of 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. In accordance with the CDC, a face covering, and social distancing is required. Other times, the family will be receiving friends at the home, 2630 A.L. Philpott Hwy. The family ask that when visiting the home, you would observe all CDC guidelines.
