Reverend Robert Dykes 75, of Hawkinsville GA entered into eternal rest on Wednesday October 12, 2022.

Graveside Services for Reverend Robert Dykes 75,of Hawkinsville GA will be Saturday October 22, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at the Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery Tippettville GA.

Reverend Robert Dykes, age seventy-five, of Hawkinsville, Georgia, passed from this life into eternal rest on October 12, 2022. He was born on April 14, 1947, to Clayton Bo Dykes and Jimmie Lee Dykes, both of whom have preceded him in death. Robert grew up in Dooly County, Georgia, where he attended Dooly County High School. He loved spending time with his family and friends and also watching western movies. He leaves a loving and caring family to cherish his life to: four daughters, Mary Jean Scott (Eric-deceased) and Rochele Dykes, both of Hawkinsville, GA, Rolanda Thompson of Atlanta, GA, and Robinette Prothor (Eric) of Carrolton, GA; one son, Randy Edwards of West Palm Beach, FL; four sisters, Lillie Crane of Nashville, TN, Betty Phillips (Dwight) of Atlanta, GA, Christine Williams of Hampton, GA, and Fern Lester (Donald) of Pineview, GA; brothers, Arthur Dykes (deceased), Luther Dykes (Deceased), Peggy who remains, Luther Dykes (deceased), Marion Johnson (deceased), and Joe Dykes, all of Atlanta, GA; twelve grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many sorrowing friends. He also leaves to cherish his memories: his ex-spouse, Lillie Dykes of Hawkinsville, GA, and two special friends, Marie Edwards of West Palm Beach, FL, and Annie Bell Means of Hawkinsville, GA.
