Mr. Grimmett, who passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022 at his home in Notasulga, AL, was born January 28, 1957 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. He leaves to cherish his memory: one daughter, Tonya (Aaron) Campbell of Fairburn, GA; four sons, Keldrick (Angela) Hill of Auburn, AL, Joseph Lamar Grimmett, Christopher Liddell Grimmett both of Decatur, GA and Malachi Grimmett of Greenville, AL; nine grandchildren, Cedarius Alexander, Ja’Nya Imani Grimmett, Kendall Campbell, Jeremiah Grimmett, Christianna Grimmett, Raamiah Grimmett, Brystin Grimmett, Gabriel Grimmett and Loyalty Grimmett; three sisters, Alma (Rickey) Black of Phenix City, AL, Cynthia (Felix) Price of Jonesboro, GA and Dianne (Pastor Gregory) Coleman of Decatur, GA; one brother, Frank Moss III of Atlanta, GA; one aunt, Ruby (Joe) Devance of Austell, GA; a devoted nephew, Detrick (Jamie) Black of Hattiesburg, MS; two devoted nieces, Rashonda Combs of Notasulga, AL and Kimberly Black of Montgomery, AL; a devoted great-niece, Jasmine Combs of Notasulga, AL; a very special friend, Stephanie White Campbell of Camp Hill, AL; a devoted employer, Terry Woodall of Auburn, AL; two devoted friends, Benjamin “BJ” Ray, Jr. of Waverly, AL and James Poole of Notasulga, AL; a host of many other nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends who will miss our dearly departed loved one.
