Obituary For Mr. John W. Kersey

Life is but a stopping place, A pause in what's to be, A resting place along the road, to sweet eternity.

Mr. John W. Kersey, age 91, of New Jersey (formally Warren County) departed this life on Monday, September 26, 2022.

Graveside service will be held Sunday, October 09, 2022 at 1PM at Cooks Chapel Baptist Church cemetery Warrenton, NC. The Reverend Tony W. Cozart, Pastor will officiate.

He leaves to cherish his memory: two sisters, Deloris Kersey Williams of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Cassandra Kersey of Henderson, North Carolina; two brothers: James A. Kersey (Ann) of Raleigh, North Carolina and Ted C. Kersey of Louisburg, North Carolina; two sisters in-law: Ella Kersey of Middleburg, North Carolina and Cecilia Kersey of Hollister, North Carolina; one aunt, Deborah Campbell of Norlina, North Carolina; one devoted God-daughter, Alice Kersey of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania ; two devoted friends and neighbors, Bob and Terry of Pemberton, New Jersey; two special friends, Sallie G. Howell and Mary W. Hargrove along with a plethora of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
