Celebration of Life Service for Mr. James Ponder, of Atlanta, GA, will be Saturday, October 1, 2022, 1PM; Willie A. Watkins Historic West End Chapel, 1003 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd Atlanta, Ga 30310.

A public viewing will be Friday, September 30, 2022 from 2-6PM at Willie A. Watkins Historic West End Chapel. 404-758-1731

Interment; Westview Cemetery.

When I was principal of the Primary School at Woodward Academy James was in charge of the night crew and he always kept our school in tip top shape. He also became friends of my husband and helped us move three different times. He was one of my favorite people at WA and he always had that sweet smile on his face. He will be missed.
