Public viewing will be held Friday, September 9, 2022 from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. WITH MASK Mr. Jackson was born in Washington County to the parentage of the now late Eugene and Dora Lee Moore Jackson. He was a 1976 graduate of Washington County High School and furthered his education seeking a B.S. Degree, from Albany State University after receiving a football scholarship. He was a member of Jones Chapel C.M.E Church. Lester was employed by Washington County Board of Commissioners for over 15 years at the Road's Department. He lived a very busy life filling his void by volunteering at the Washington County Recreation Department. He loved Atlanta Braves and Falcons Football. He truly enjoyed spending time with family. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Robert Jackson and one sister, Annette Jackson. Memories will forever be etched in the hearts and mind of his wife: Cathy Williams Jackson, Tennille, GA; his children: Uyunta (Jakota)Turner, Antionette Coleman, Maurice Williams, Wadley, GA, Cimere Coleman, Tennille, GA, Shanice Coleman, Hephzibah, GA; his siblings: Eugene (Orlanda) Jackson, Jr., Tennille, GA, Michael Jackson, Bartow, GA, Adam (Annie Lois) Jackson, Dothan, AL, Dorothy Jean (Earl ) Lowery, Wadley, GA; his grandchildren, Jakota Turner, Jr, Jatasia Turner, Jatiya Turner, Laytin McKinnie, Karli Davis, Anaria Davis, Dillon Wilburn, Demi McGee, Maurtoris Williams, Natalia Souto and Karson Jordan; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
