Funeral service will be Friday, September 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. EST at Ft. Benning Main Post Chapel with Pastor James Daniels, officiating. Interment to follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 1-5 p.m. EST.
Charlotte Yvonne Hunt Jones was born September 29, 1970 in Lafayette, Louisiana to the late Sarah Lee Babino Hunt and the late Abram Hunt, Sr.
She was a resident of Fort Mitchell, Alabama and a native of Lafayette, Louisiana. Charlotte departed this life, Saturday, September 3, 2022. Charlotte was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife, and mother. She was baptized at an early age by the late Reverend James Spain at Magnolia Baptist Church in Franklin, Louisiana.
Charlotte was married to Bernard Lemont Jones May 29, 1993 and to this union three children was born; two daughters and one son.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Abram and Sarah Lee Hunt; one brother, Gary L. Hunt, Sr.; father-in-law, Willie Lee Jones; grandparents, Martha and Wilbert Hunt, Sr.; Hattie and Homer Brown, Sr.; Bessie and Willie Babino; nieces, Kierra and Sierra Hunt; and a number of aunts and uncles.
