Gloria McNeil Obituary Gloria McNeil born June 7,1939 from the union of Leathia Tolson and William Tolson. She along with plenty of black women had to live through some really tough times. However, Gloria knew he heart would guide her to take her place in this world. Gloria graduated from Clara Barton Nursing School where she found her niche as a caregiver. She went on to work with Gotham Registry, which sent her to work in every hospital in New York City. After she retired, her passion would never stop. She went as far as even taking in those that needed her help we all remember mama Steele Aka Grandma, Ruth learner, Dr. Ethal Berl and her sister, Annette McNeil aka Little Bit who all lived with us. Gloria grew restless which led to her looking for a new meaning in life, so with assistance from Brother John Wwoger she became a baptized Jehovah’s Witness. She learned she was given an even bigger blessing, to find God’s lost sheep and bring them out of darkness. She always did her best, so now she may rest. Gloria left to celebrate her life are her children: Drenna M. Hatwood & Henry Hatwood. Michelle Jones & Eric Jones. Lillian Moxey & Daniel Moxey. Theodore McNeil & Lisa McNeil, Grystal McNeil & Arthur Rogers, Jemma Smith, Donna Smith, and in loving memory Nicole McNeil. Her Grandchildren: Henry Hatwood. Brooke Hatwood. Anthony Hatwood, Abby Frazier, Asheena McNiel, Erica Jone, Eric Jones, Van McNiel, Nicole McNeil, Arianna McNeil, Janaya McNeil, Hannah McNeil, John McNeil, Godfrey McNeil, Gloria Mariah McNeil, Samantha Smith, Samuel Smith, Sham Smith and Lyndon Smith. Her Great Grandchildren: Danaria, Mark, Cam-ron, Aaliyah, Kamali, Chaz,David, Azariah, Selah, Malakhi, Kiyomi, Emiere, King, Justin, Aliyah, Eas, Ola, Kaidense, William, Nylah, Zackariah, Belia, Kaleb, London, Chrish, Cason, and bay LLynn.
