McWilliams, Mrs. Virginia, A resident of Montgomery, AL departed this life on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 11:00AM from Phillips-Riley Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Devontae Haigler, officiating.

Mrs. McWilliams will be laid to rest in Montgomery Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. McWilliams will lie in state on Friday, September 2, 2022 from 1-8PM at Phillips-Riley Funeral Home.

NOTICE: Please be mindful that the State of Alabama and the CDC have advised that we limit gatherings and that individuals who are ill and or are at-risk (e.g., elderly, immune-compromised) should be encouraged to stay home. Social Distancing Practices will be observed during the visitation and service.

I remember Aunt Virginia to be a sweet, and kind spirit! I always enjoyed visiting her and my cousins when we came to Alabama for the summer. Most of all I remember her Red Velvet Cakes! No one ever made one better! Aunt Virginia thank you for all the precious childhood memories that I had the pleasure of spending at your home. RiP!
