To the Thornton Family: WE take this time to expire our personal condolences to the family of Craig Thornton. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family during this time of great sadness. May all please continue to draw true comfort from this wonderful promise that God shares with us about the resurrection hope. Yes, God has shares with us His promise about the restoring of life back to a great host of people who have fallen asleep in death. This comforting promise is recorded at John 5:28-29. As the text states, God would cause a calling to go forth to those in the grave to stand up in life again. From this one promise, God is giving us His personal guarantee that the resurrection of life would take place for a great host of people. So, although it seems that we have entered another period of darkness or gloom, the day of brightness is just around the corner. All today can build up their confidences in this future blessing by reading all nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about the resurrection hope from God. Here is just one such example that is recorded at John 11:32-44. I hope that all will get a chance to see how these wonderful verses apply to Craig, and a great host of others. In closing we encourage all to please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Remember that when God makes a promise, it becomes reality. For it is impossible for God to lie. Titus 1:2)
