On August the 7th Heaven welcomed a man of honor. Granddaddy Heyward you are loved. A man of honor, love and respect. A man of class. Granddad lived a life full of joy and happiness. Whenever I think about him, I remember how he displayed patience out of this World, loved his family and always made all of us feel loved. The respect that was displayed when he entered the room or when people spoke of him was indescribable. It makes me proud to say that I am his granddaughter. I remember how you worked so hard and were known by all. The love he shared with Grandma was amazing, he adored her. I now realize that it was not the events in his life that were extraordinary, but the way he faced them, always displaying strength, and supporting his family. His love for the Lord was always first, and his example taught me a lot. He faced life with intelligence, courage, and wit. Granddad, I will always miss you, but I am thankful and blessed to have so many memories of you and that amazing smile. You will forever remain in my heart. A thousand years would not be enough to learn all the lessons and wisdom you had to share. I am just blessed that you were in my World for 41 years. Love, Deirdre W. Moses
