Mrs. Elizabeth M. Rivers of Atlanta passed July 27, 2022. Funeral service for Mrs. River will be held in our Chapel on Saturday August 13, 2022 at 12pm. Viewing Friday August 12, 2022 from 1pm to 6pm. All participants are required to wear a mask while our Chapel seats 400 which allows for social distancing. Please contact us for further information.

Elizabeth Rivers was born on January 13,1944. She was the sixth born to the late Clara Moore and Booker T Gray.On the 27th day of July in the year of 2022,God opened the gates of heaven.

Elizabeth was proceded in death by her son Eddie Parks III and daughter Barbara Parks. Elizabeth accepted at an early age and joined New westside baptist church. Elizabeth was self employed at her own cleaning service and she ran her own juke joint. Elizabeth was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She loved being around family. She enjoyed parties. Elizabeth leaves to cherish her precious memories her five grandsons Reginald Keith Lamar Jr. of Sacramento,California;Everett (LaVeva) Terry of Griffin,Georgia; Okedas McClure of Atlanta and a host of other relatives and friends.
