Mr. Vallien’s memories are being cherished by: his wife of 66 years, Shirley Vallien of Garland, LA; four sons, Grandy Vallien, Sr. of Garland, LA, Michael (Pamela) Vallien, Sr. of Alexandria, LA, Herman (Olga Denise) Vallien, Jr. and Jerome (Nicole) Vallien, Sr., both of Beggs, LA; five daughters, Ruthie Cyriaque (Marvin Wayne), Odessa Wilson (Ed) and Sheryl Adams (Roger) all of Alexandria, LA, Angela Vallien of Garland, LA and Aline Vallien (Nathaniel) of Forney, TX; one brother, Leroy (Ida) Vallien of Missouri City, TX; two sisters, Alto Washington of Alexandria, LA and Georgia Davis of Baton Rouge, LA; twenty-four grandchildren; forty great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, Earman and Gladys Vallien; three sisters, Libby Charles, Beaulah Marshall and Gussie Vallien; one grandson, Antonio Jamar Vallien; and his daughter-in-law, Tomekia Patrice Gordon Vallien. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Opelousas General Health System, Heart of Hospice and Sylvia’s Caring Companion.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at Church of God Campground.
