He later went to work for Henrico County for fifteen years until his retirement in 2019.. Percy always emphasized the importance of family and friends. From frequent visits to their homes to consistently attending famiy reunions, he always made sure to spend time with his family. He loved to travel, watch Western movies, shine his "Chevy", and play with his great-grandson. Percy was known for his hilarious bluntness and unrivaled wisdom.
