Robert Keegan Duncan

Passed 07/15/2022

Robert Keegan Duncan, 31, passed away in the early hours of Friday, July 15, 2022, at Moses Cone Medcenter of High Point, after a courageous battle with acute epiglottitis. Robert was born on April 8, 1991, at Thomasville Medical Center, Thomasville, NC.

Fondly known as Keegan to many, Robert grew up in High Point, NC, where he attended the Guilford County Public Schools and was a graduate of Southwest Guilford High School, Class of 2010. Keegan went on to serve the community by working as a transportation driver with Westwood Health and Rehabilitation Center for 7 years. Despite the fact that Keegan had no sense of direction and always relied on his GPS to get him to even his closest friends’ and relatives’ houses, he always got his residents to their appointments promptly and most importantly safely. Keegan would go the extra mile to provide care to those in need. It truly warmed his heart to do anything he could to help others. Keegan's smile and contagious laugh would brighten any room. His laughter was infectious and brought so much joy and happiness to everyone who knew him. Robert was an avid animal lover and enjoyed spending time with his dogs King, Nova, and Apollo. Robert will be lovingly remembered and missed.

Robert is survived by his mother, Lisa Everhart; father, Jeffrey Duncan; sister, Nichole Duncan; brother, Jerrick Duncan; nephew, Ashton; nieces Aniya, Addison, and Juliana; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Memorial service will be held Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
