Mrs. Carolyn Louise Jones was born on January 4, 1953 in Valdosta, Georgia to the late Warren Burgess, Sr. and the late Essie Williams. On July 13, 2022, Carolyn answered her heavenly call from the Lord.

She will be deeply missed by those she loved. She loved planting flowers. She leaves to cherish her memories her son: Lewis Alvin Jones, Jr. (Stephanie). Ex-husband: Lewis Alvin Jones, Sr. Her Sisters: Barbara Burgess (Ames), and Doris Foster (Ivory). Her brothers: Morris Burgess, Warren Burgess, Jr. (Carolyn), and Larry Burgess (Songi). Grandchild: Ebonye Martin (Marcus). Several nieces and nephews. Special friends: Clara Elliot, Jewel Bivins, and Stedmond Bivins.

Memorial services for Mrs. Carolyn Louise Jones will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 3 p.m. from the Ralph Harrington Memorial Chapel located at 713 Lake Park Road, Valdosta, GA.
