Homegoing Services for Mr. Micahel Eugene Delk, of Atlanta, will be held Saturday, July 16, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at First Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 816 Maynard Terrace, Atlanta, GA. 30316, with remains placed in repose at 9:30 A.M. Overseer Victor D. Tate, Pastor, Officiating. Interment following at Lincoln Cemetery, 2275 Joseph E. Boone Blvd., Atlanta, GA.

Public Viewing will be held Friday, July 15, 2022, 12:00 NOON until 7:00 P.M. at the mortuary.

Mr. Delk leaves to cherish his loving memories, spouse, Mrs. Joyce S. Delk; his 2 children, Patrice Delk, Michelle Delk; his loving grandchildren, MiKayla Bush, Cora Bella Morgan; his 3 siblings, Charles Delk, William Delk, Daphne Delk; and a host of other loving relatives, extended family, and close friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence Saturday, at 10:00 A.M.

I really appreciate pops And mom for everything they have done for me in my wife.Pops took me in as his son and we talk in laughed every week when i would go to see him. Man I'm really going to miss Our Laughs and talks. If you really new him then you new he was a jokester but he met business...I ask him one day why did you wear suits all the time he said when they seen me they new I meant business and I was the Boss...😂😂. So he gave me 3 suits and they fit me perfect... that really made his day because he new I was going to wear it just like he did. Bosss💪🏿💪🏿💯💯Really going to miss you Pops... Rest easy because you have done your job on this side you maked sure all your kids and grandkids was in a great Position in life before you transition so take your rest pops I love you..And for mom your already know we have you guys back whatever you need We are here for you.❤️❤️

I will ALWAYS cherish the memories/fun times of being with uncle Michael, aunt Joyce and the girls for most of my childhood. He too was like a father to me and he will be missed, by so many. Love and hugs to our entire family. Prayers for strength comfort and peace in the days ahead. Trina Delk
