Adelma Garcia youngest of 5 siblings born to Henrietta Lopez Nee Contreras and Pablo Garcia Sr. 12th of June 1956 in Puerto Barrios Guatemala. Adelma grew up in Stann Greek District Belize where she attended Sacred Heart School Austin High School and Belize City Hospital School of Nursing Adelma was witty skillful and comical in her own way. As a child she would make peppermint candy to sell around the neighborhood for fundraising. She became a nurse in Belize and later migrated to New York to joined her sisters and brother 1974. Adelma continued her nursing career in Brooklyn and later moved to Harlem to work at a nursing home where she loved caring for the elderly, but in 2013 started experiencing unknown pains that impaired her mobility. Adelma’s favorite pastime was traveling with her two sons, Bryant and Joshua. She was family-oriented a devoted mother and welcoming to family and friends. She is survived by two children: Bryant Palacio and Joshua Johnson. One grandchild: Katrina Adelam Palacio. Three sisters: Hilda Diego nee Garcia, Adelica Enriquez nee Garcia, and Leslie Walker nee Garcia. One brother: Pablo R. Garcia, three nieces: Mrs. Ashley Cunha, Miss Rebecca Enriquez, and Mrs. Tricia Lomax. Eight nebphews: Ashley Diego, Mark Enrizuez, Sawn Enriquez, Pablo Garcia, Jr., Damon Garcia, Marion Martinez and Charles Lee Alvarez, who preceded her.
