CROWLEY – Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Agape’ New Vision Ministry, 925 N. Western Avenue, Crowley, LA for Mr. Edden Jamar Peterson, affectionately known as “Potato”, 16, who entered eternal rest on Thursday, June 16, 2022 in Crowley, LA. Interment will be in West Crowley Cemetery.

Bishop Joseph Damon will be officiating the funeral service.

Edden’s memories are being cherished by: his parents, father Eddie J. Peterson, Sr., mothers, Rachel M. Thomas, Markisha L. Robinson, mom, Shawanna P. Hall (Richard); one son, Hadrian Robinson and mother Breanna Robinson of Crowley, LA; nine brothers, Eric Thomas (Taya), Jontaries Robinson, Lenterius Thomas, Jon’Tavious Thomas (Yela), Ja’Qulyn Peterson, Jemarion Thomas, all of Crowley, LA, Caleb Cain and Eddie J. Peterson, Jr. both of Virginia Beach, VA and Wa’Cason Harmon of Houston, TX; two bonus brothers, Donovan Damon, Jr. and T.J., Jr., both of Crowley, LA; eight sisters, Brooklyn Harmon (Shedrick), Brayonna La’neitra Thomas and Le’neitra Thomas, all of Crowley, LA, Tyresha Peterson of Rayne, LA, Taylor Cain and Kiara Cain, both of Virginia Beach, VA, My’Treasure Lazard of Lafayette, LA and Cy’anna Beverly of Portsmouth, VA; grandfather, Samuel Drake, Jr. of Crowley, LA; grandmothers, Mary Drake of Crowley, LA, Gloria Wessinger (Momma Dean) of Lafayette, LA; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Awaiting Edden’s arrival, he will be greeted by: his maternal grandparents, Murlee Rochon, Johnny George and Jessie Guillory; paternal grandparents, Theresa Peterson, Arthur Clark, Charles Brown and Samuel Wheeler; and a special aunt, Daisy Lou Wessinger (Nanny Lou).

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Agape’ New Vision Ministry.
