Mr. Willie Jim Cornelius Heath began his life’s journey on January 9, 1972, to the union of the late James E Heath, Sr. and Mildred Heath in Lineville, Alabama. At an early age, Jim accepted Christ as his Lord and personal Savior. He was a member of Springhill Baptist Church throughout his childhood and young adult years. He received an associates degree from Southern Union College. He enjoyed being a the masonic organization.
On Wednesday, June 15, 2022, Jim answered the Master’s call and gained his wings. He was preceded on his journey by his father, James E. Heath, Sr.; and a sister, Barbara Jean Davenport.
Memories of Jim will forever be cherished in the hearts of his two children, Cameron Heath (Makia Holmon) of Hamilton, Georgia and Jasmine (Zach) Setzer of Huntsville, Alabama; his mother, Mildred Heath of Lineville, Alabama; two grandchildren, Ace Heath and Evelyn “Evie” Setzer; six siblings, Jacqueline Owens of Centerville, Alabama, Marpessa Heath and Justena Heath of Ashland, Alabama, James (Shawn) Heath, Jr. of Alpine, Alabama, Jason (Katrina) Heath of Weaver, Alabama and Cenessa (Derrick) Herring of Lineville, Alabama; four uncles, John Paul Heath and Wiley Heath of Alpine, Alabama, Walter Frazier of Yonkers, New York, and Jimmy Birdson of Roanoke, Alabama; his best friend, Ervin (Vicky) Staples; his close cousin, Edward Davenport; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
