Sidney M. Ross was born on July 20, 1948 to the late Eddie M. Ross and the late Alease Stewart - Jackson. He was reared in a loving home by his late mother and beloved “daddy” the late Rev. Dr. Charles J. Jackson, Jr.

He was a wonderful husband and father.

Sidney was quietly called home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 10, 2022 after a brief illness.

He leaves to cherish fond memories: his beloved wife, Regina Piercy - Ross; his children, Michael (Michelle) Ross, Crystal Mason, Ray (LaTisha) Harris, Latricia Piercy and T.J. Harris; his siblings, Min. Eve (William) Glenn, Rev. Dr. Neal (Diane) Jackson, Rev. Dr. Charlene (James) Gresham, Teresa (Albert) King, and Bishop Charles (Alaine) Jackson, III; sister-in-law, Rev. Elluree Harris; brothers-in-law, Rev. Allen (Phyllis) Harris and Tim Harris; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other loving family members.

A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for Friday, June 17, 2022 in North Chesterfield, Virginia.
