Mrs. Snowden was a member of the Saint Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church in Blountstown, Florida. She retired from the Calhoun-Liberty Hospital in Blountstown, Florida. To know her was to love her.
Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 11:00 AM from the sanctuary of First Baptist Church located at 17091 South Main Street in Blountstown, Florida 32424 where the Reverend Tim Rhoads is the pastor with the Reverend Clorese Snowden, the Reverend Angus Jackson, Jr., Superintendent Delano Reed, Reverend Jerry Crook, and the Reverend Hayward Anderson officiating.
Interment will be in the Magnolia Cemetery located at 326 13th Street in Blountstown, Florida.
Mrs. Snowden will lie in repose at the church from 10:00 AM until time for the service.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.
In accordance with recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Guidance, we ask that everyone wear a mask for the viewing and funeral service to protect the health and safety of all who will attend.
She leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:
Eight Sons: Gregory Snowden (Valarie) and Rufus Snowden (Terri) both of Lehigh Acres, Florida; Ernest Snowden of Blountstown, Florida; Christopher Snowden (Cynthia) of Williston, North Dakota; Clorese Snowden, Rayfield Snowden (Endea), Larry Snowden (Ertha), and Charles Snowden all of Mobile, Alabama
Three Daughters: Laura Ann Snowden of Blountstown, Florida; Tammy Snowden-Faison of Tallahassee, Florida; and Marci Buchanan of San Diego, California
One Goddaughter: Debra Kay Jones (Dennis) of Blountstown, Florida
Two Brothers: Frank Mosley (Henrietta) of Bay Minette, Alabama; and John Earl Mosley of Dayton, Ohio
Twelve grandchildren, Eight Great Grandchildren
And a host of special nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
