Obituary For Lolita Noreen "Woocie" Everett

Lolita Noreen “Woocie” Everett made her transition from this life on Saturday, June 4, 2022. She was born March 16, 1963, in Asheboro, NC, a daughter of Beulah Everett and the late Charles Everett. Lolita was also preceded in death by a niece, Ka’Anna Taylor.

Lolita married Anthony Franks on September 14, 1992 and to this union three children were born.

After finishing high school, Lolita attended both Carolina Beauty College and Leon’s Beauty School, obtaining her cosmetology licensure and going on to be one of the best hair stylists in the Piedmont Triad area. Lolita was a creative person by skill, excelling in art painting/drawing), various DIY projects, and hair styling, competing in several hair shows throughout her years as a cosmetologist.

Lolita leaves to cherish her memories to her husband, Anthony Franks of Charlotte, NC; her mother, Beulah Everett of Asheboro, NC; her sons, Lamonte Everett of Asheboro, NC, and Marcel Everett; her daughter, An’Joelelita Everett-Seabrum (Monquavious) of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Dana Everett of Asheboro, NC, and Jackie Taylor of Atlanta, GA; six grandchildren, Jay Woody, Marcel Everett, Jr., Justyce Everett, Meilani Everett, Amina Everett, and Riley Everett; nieces & nephews whom she loved like her own children, Laura Brower, DJ Everett, Dr. Callie Sa’Dena Everett, Rukeya Taylor, Jalyn Taylor, JaQuana Franks, and Kevin Lawton; honorary sisters/closest friends, Lisa Shoffner, Tatia Anene, Tara Davis, Dorina Fuller, Amy Brower; sister-in-law, Angela Franks; special recognition to mother-in-law, Louise Goodman; additional recognition to all the many friends, family, and god-children that Lolita loved and cared about over the years.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, June 12, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Final arrangements are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Service, Inc.
