Obituary For Ms. Amerah Ann Green

YOUNGSTOWN A homegoing celebration in honor of Ms.Amerah Ann Green will be held Friday June 3, 2022 at 11am at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 827 Wilson Ave., in Youngstown, Ohio. Amerah A. Green, 19 known to all as "MeMe" transitioned this life into her eternal resting place on May 21, 2022. Ms. Green was born in June 24, 2002 in Youngstown, Ohio the daughter of Michelle A. (Thomas) Green and Robert C. Green Jr. Amerah attended The Rayen Early College after which she graduated from East High School in June of 2020. She enjoyed life and her greatest joy, E'Zaria Amari Bryant, her daughter. While attending East High, Amerah "Cheerleading Captain," performed in many competitions alongside great friends London, KiAsia, Andrea, and Janiya. Let's not forget, cheering for the Northside Knights. Ms. Green attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church being baptized in September 2010, and loved singing in the choir. A certified nursing assistant, she worked passionately to ensure her patients were well cared for at Briarfield Nursing facility. She also worked at DTLR where she helped customers with the biggest smile. Amerah leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, parents, brothers, Joshua A. Green, Robert C. Green III, and Ryan Keels, great-grandmother, Allie Mae Ross; grandmother, Jeannie Vines; grandfathers, Willie "WJ" Big Thomas and Larry Vines (PaPa). Aunts; Kimberly Thomas, Jeannette Thomas-Jackson, and Simone Vines. Uncles; Tyrell Williamson, Michael Ross, Jerrold Green, and Larry Vines III. She also leaves cousins; Michael, her comfort cousin, Maurice, her tennis shoe enthusiasts' cousin, and her ride or die cousin "EJ", as well as a host of loving family members and friends. Amerah was preceded in death by a brother, Marcus Christopher Pattmon; grandfathers, Albert Ross and Robert Green Sr.; grandmother, Shirley Green; and aunts, Clementine Bramlett, and Shirlynne Green. The family will receive friends from 10-11 am at the church. Internment will be in Tod Homestead Cemetery.
