Wendell Hayes, 61, died Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center, Florence,SC. Hewas born April 26, 1961 in Manning, SC,a son of the late James, Jr and Lucy Witherspoon Hayes.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Hayes F. Samuels, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 North Church St., Manning, SC. Burial will follow in the St. James Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 1288 Coleman Road, Greeleyville, SC.

The family is receiving friends at he home of his brother and sister-in-law Harskin (Mary) Hayes, 1111 Twilight Lane, Manning, SC.
