Obituary For Clarence Edward "Buster" Gainor

MR. CLARENCE EDWARD "BUSTER" GAINOR - Age 68, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022. He was born April 17, 1954 in Cartersville, Georgia. He attended Dalton Public Schools and he served in the United State Army. He attended Hopewell Baptist Church and Dalton House of Prayer, and was employed at Shaw Industries and Gene Rogers Construction Company. He was preceded by his sister, Minister Cynthia Taylor, grandparents, George and Marie McClure Gainor, uncles, Jesse Gainor, Robert Gainor, and Dennis Gainor.

Survivors are his loving and devoted fiancé, Anna Burns; godson, Aaron Famber; goddaughter, Lisa Hill; mother, Lilly Ann (Charles) Dwight; sister, Denise (Joel) Wilson; brothers, Chris (Tina) Barrett, Minister Bernard (Vickie) Gee, and Leland A. Dwight; aunts, Lessie Hardwick, Catherine Rogers, Elnora James, Katie Gainor, Minister Elaine (James) Green, and Sheila Clark; uncles, George (Shirley) Gainor, Rev. Michael (Florence) Gainor, and Rev. Guy Gainor; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives; godbrothers, Leonard Williams, Bert Moore, Lawrence Bray; special friends, C. J. Burns, Amanda Burns, and other friends.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 3, 2022 at 11:00 A. M. at the Willis Funeral Home Chapel, 2011 Martin L. King, Jr. Blvd., Dalton, Georgia 30721, with Rev. Guy Gainor and other ministers officiating. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Thursday after 12:00 noon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 – 7:30 P. M. Interment, Cassville Cemetery, Cassville, Georgia. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
