Janet D. Claiborne, 75, of Henrico, died May 2, 2022. Surviving are her husband, Richard Claiborne, Sr.; mother, Lena Clarke; daughter, Ja Nycc Claiborne; son, Richard Claiborne, Jr. (Leatrice); two grandchildren, Briana and Aliya Claiborne; great granddaughter, Saliyah; step brother, Herbert Pettiford; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Monday, May 9 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 10 at St Peter Baptist Church, 2040 Mountain Road.
