Peco was like a brother to me. He accepted me, even as others sat in judgement. Many times, I called on him for guidance and support because he was a listener. The most important attribute that can be assigned to Peco: He Was a Father To His Children! He was present and absolutely devoted to Evan and Victoria. As Father's Day rapidly approaches, you will miss him even more profoundly than you do now, but remember "...to be absent from the body is to be present with The Lord..." Peco is no longer in any pain.

My sincere heartfelt condolences are offered to Victoria, Evan, Laura and the entire Brooks Family for the loss of their loved one, Peco Brooks. Peco and I attended high school and one year at Fayetteville State together. From the beginning of meeting Peco I could tell he deeply loved his family and friends and would do anything for them. I will remember Peco for his infectious smile that would light up a room and his positive outlook on life! RIP!!! Dennis Williams
