Durothy Frank Locust, Jr. departed this life on April 11, 2022 and made his journey home to be with the Lord and loved ones who awaited him. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Durothy Frank Locust, Sr. and Margaret Palmer Locust; brother, Mark Locust. Surviving are his loving and devoted wife, Erma P. Locust, of Midlothian, VA.; loving daughter, Kimberly Locust of Houston, TX.; two sons, Daryl F. and Derek D. Locust of Hampton, VA.; two grandsons, Andretti D. and Aidan C. Locust of Hampton, VA.; a devoted and loving sister, Angela L. Daniels of Chesapeake, VA.; sisters, Deborah Mack of Washington, D.C.; Tawanna Speed of Hyattsville, MD.; Regina, Wanda and Valeria Locust of Washington, D.C.; two brothers, Edwin and Eric Locust, of Washington, D.C.; a devoted nephew, Ray M. Daniels, of Charleston, S.C.; a devoted cousin, Bernita Kaye Hayes of Silver Spring, MD.; sisters-in-law, Josephine Williams of Virginia and Rose Drummond of PA.; brother-in-law, William Palmer of Virginia. Durothy will be dearly missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, neighbors and colleagues.
Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E Brookland Park Blvd. where viewing was held Saturday, April 16 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, April 18 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E Brookland Park Blvd. Rev.
