In the quiet morning hours of Thursday, April 14th, Willie J. (Billy) Fennell, Jr., embraced the tranquility of God's eternity. Billy transitioned in the Medical University of South Carolina bidding the cares of this world farewell. Willie J. (Billy) Fennell, Jr., 72, husband of Elizabeth R. Fennell, was a native of Yemassee, SC. A graduate of the North District Training School, Varnville, SC, Billy matriculated with the South Carolina State University, Orangeburg, SC. His natural skills coupled with those he learned in the halls of academia, afforded him many professional opportunities. He has resided in Illinois and Georgia, but made his way back to his native home. Billy has managed Eckerds, Inc., was a South Carolina DOT Officer, and was the comptroller for Frazier Construction Co, Ravenel. An entrepreneur, he and his wife, established a Flower Shop that served Yemassee and adjoining areas. Later, he would work in the field of entertainment, "the Wonder Woman Club." He was a man who was never lost for words and intrigued many listeners with life lesson stories. Always to remember him, he leaves his wife, daughter, grandchildren, siblings, relatives and friends.

Memorial Services: Friday, April 22, 2022, Eleven O'clock am in the Family Worship Center, #2 Trask Pkwy, Yemassee, SC.
