Chi and the Wall Family, I am so sorry to hear of Hank's passing. My condolences to you all. Hank was always a source of inspiration and encouragement as well as a true community activist for disadvantaged youth. Hank's guidance of so many Black Boys was instrumental to their development in becoming productive Black Men. Hank organized BOTSO long before volunteering and mentoring was popular. This community will never be able to fill the void Hank has left in mentoring youth. His presence as a pillar of this community will be sorely missed. Rest in Power, Hank! Sylvia Collins

We were childhood friends and neighbors. When he responded to a comment on FB he still called me "sis" because that's what they called me growing up. Well, Hank, I just looked up what it means and you can call me Sis anytime: A slang term for sister, used as a term of endearment for a best friend that you consider family. Well, I feel like a member of your family and what you did for our community improving the lives of young men and so many others is outstanding and I"m glad that you continued to call me "Sis." You will surely be missed, but I guess the man upstairs, the Holy Spirit, needed your more!

Lifting Shai and the rest of the extended Wall family up in prayer. Hank talked with such a deep voice but had such a gentle heart for mentoring the youth in our city, where I met him working with our recreation department. He inspired many boys through the Botso program that have become strong men and leaders that I know will continue to carry on his vision and passion. T. Spurgeon

My memories of Hank expand over 30 years at the USPS NDC/Bmc Gso , we carpooled during those 1984 periods as High Point homies, he was a physically built and mental sharp spiritual based man ,who loved his family and his associates accordingly . He founded the BOTSO organization prior to retiring and this was a force that inspired his overall personality. As a mentor,a real smile, and author, he will be missed , but as a true Shaka "he will be remembered.

- na

My deepest condolences to the Wall & Adan Family. Hank was a mentor/father to me and my family. Always supportive and encouraging. You will deeply be missed.

To the family of Henry "Hank" Wall: From the moment I learned of Hank's death you have been in my thoughts and prayers. I extend my condolences and want you to know that I feel your pain as if it were my own. My heart is truly broken, and I join a large circle of family and friends who are mourning Hank's death and wish to bring you consolation during your time of grief. The pain of his loss is excruciating, but we will never lose the pleasure and joy of having had him in our lives because the thread of our human bonds will keep some part of him connected with us. Hank was a beautiful soul and a fiery spark full of love, faith, and determination. He was an empathetic, encouraging, and supportive mentor and role model to the young men he worked with through BOTSO, the organization he founded and for which he served as Executive Director. He was truly a servant leader. I have no doubt that when his bell tolled on Saturday, March 5, 2022, God whispered in his ear, "Well done my good and faithful servant. Welcome Home." Farewell my classmate and friend, until we meet again. Barbara Carter

To the family of Hank- I'm saddened to hear of his sudden passing. He worked across the hall from mine and my Dad's office in the same building. Whenever he saw me and I saw him, we spoke....sometimes we'd speak a little longer in the parking lot whenever we both were outside at the same time. He was such a gentleman and dedicated to the work of BOTSO. I'm shocked I must admit, but its a reminder that we all need to be prepared beforehand for when its our time. My condolences go out to his family, friends, and dedicated volunteers who worked with him at BOTSO. -Hayes Dallas of The Dallas Family
