Mr. Lewis Sanders was born in Lincoln County, NC on January 15, 1945 to the late Albert Sanders, Sr. and the late Leo Rendleman Sanders. He transitioned from his earthly home on Tuesday; March 1, 2022 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia, NC.
Public viewing at the funeral home on Sunday; March 6, 2022 from 5 until 7.
Funeral on Monday; March 7, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Gold Hill Baptist Church, Stanley with thirty minutes of visitation before the service.
Interment: Gold Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Stanley
Masks are required at all services and funeral will be live on funeral home facebook page.
Sonny, it was my pleasure in knowing you, Cuz. I remember when brought Cousin Pearl and Sonny to our house with my granddad passed away, since that time you have remind close. The last time we at the family reunion you surprised me with the family history. Wow!!! that was a blow (a good one). Thank you so-much for your service... I never said that to you before. I didn't know you were a Military Veteran. I appreciate meeting and knowing your wife when I saw her. I even felt connected to her. I will remember you. May the Lord continue to bless you and hold you tight as you journey home to be with him.
