Ms. Denise Barnett, 52, of Gadsden, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Riverview Regional Medical Center.

The Obituary Denise Rochelle Dixon Barnett was born in Gadsden, Alabama on July 31, 1969, to Patricia Ann Dixon and the late Roosevelt Lovejoy. Denise was a True Believer in the lord Jesus Christ. She loved praise and worship music, But Johnny Taylor, Prince and Travis Trent. Denise loved her family. She has been a daughter sister, Auntie, Cousin, Wife & Mother and a friend. Pure at heart, with a ready helping hand, Stand by your side through thick and thin. Her smile Radiant, laughter contagious, rare hugs a welcome truth be told she had a heart as full of gold. Denise “Nee Pete” Dixon was proceeded in rest by her later father Roosevelt Lovejoy, a host of cousins’ aunts and uncles.

Denise leave to cherish in loving memories her mother Patricia Ann Dixon, Aunt Wynnie Dixon (Detroit, Mi) Gussie (Gary) Russell (Gadsden, Al) Theresa Benson (Virgina) Special Sons: Treyez Barnett and JaTory Barnett(Gadsden). Sisters Felecia Dixon, Brandi Ruffin, Shannon St. George, (Gadsden). Brothers Jeffery Dixon, Terrance (Lakeisha) Dixon, Stanley (Clara)Woods all of Gadsden, Al. Neices Jakeya Dixon, Shanya Dixon, Akeila Williams, Tanaja Dixon all of Gadsden. Nephews Octavious Dixon, Thomas Benford Akeim Williams, Terrance Dixon Jr. Jermaine Harris all of Gadsden. Cousins Shay (Chubb) Jennings, Cerrika (Stacy) Jordan, Great Neices Ty and Tori, Kiara, Cookie, Octavionna, Great Nephews Octavious Jr., Carter, Kase Malakai, Cousins ; Kyle, Jacey all of Gadsden.
