πŸ¦‹I'm forever grateful for the Grace to be adopted into the Thomas Family! As a young girl from Detroit, in the 70's, would visit Tuscaloosa with her best friend Sharon, for summers to visit her family! Uncle Eddie has always had a strong loving presence! I would've never imagined that I would return to Tuscaloosa for 10 seasons with my Husband, Coach Bobby Williams! It was a pleasure & an Honor to host Him & my Mrs.Thomas to their 1st Alabama FB game! I witness Mel Moore hugging him so tightly on sight! We were stopped every few feet making our way to our seats, by someone wanting to shake Eddie Bs handπŸ™πŸΌMy family send our deepest condolences! His legacy lives on Strong & LongπŸ’œπŸ™πŸΌπŸ¦‹βœοΈcousin πŸ’”Sheila Williams!

My memory of Dr. Thomas at TJHS (1971-73) was that although he could be a tough disciplinarian, he also had a loving heart. He took great pride in his job as assistant principal. He was very proud of our school. Always dressed in a suit and full of energy. He understood his impact on young people and his ability to positively affect them. Good man. Rest in peace...Jeff Flanagan
