BURIAL: Cedar Oak Memorial Park, 1401 Mimosa Park Road, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401.

As a young girl from Detroit, in the 70's, would visit Tuscaloosa with her best friend Sharon, for summers to visit her family! Uncle Eddie has always had a strong loving presence! My memory of Dr. Thomas at TJHS (1971-73) was that although he could be a tough disciplinarian, he also had a loving heart. He took great pride in his job as assistant principal. He was very proud of our school. Always dressed in a suit and full of energy. He understood his impact on young people and his ability to positively affect them. Good man.
