Obituary For Rev. Samuel Nathaniel Cooper

Rev. Samuel Nathaniel Cooper, 79, of Bunnell, Florida passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022, with his loving family at his side.

Samuel Nathaniel Cooper was born on December 5, 1942, to the late Arthur Cooper and Arnetta Bisbee in St. Augustine, Florida. He attended Carver Elementary and High School. He was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Frank Giddens, Sr. Samuel served in the U.S. Army and worked many years as a supervisor for the Department of Transportation and later retired. His life passion was talking about the goodness of the Lord and keeping the family room filled with laughter.

Samuel has reunited with his loving family, his parents, Authur Cooper and Arnetta Bisbee; three daughters, Delois Cooper, Kimberly Cooper and Lupita Breland; and two sisters, Christine Hudson and Christine Cooper.

Samuel is survived by his loving wife, Mary Cooper (A.K.A. Mae Lou) whom he cherished so much; sons Samuel Cooper, Jr. (Christy), Michael Cooper (Lisa), Kevin Robinson and Eric Robinson; daughters, Stephanie Cooper, Teresa Cooper-Breland, Samantha Cooper (Mark) and Serena Robinson; brothers, George Cooper, Albert Wright, Donald Wright (Beverly), Johnnie Cooper and Eugene Cooper; sisters, Sarah Thurston, Frances Tomlin, Marsha Wright, Evelyn Cooper and Delois Scippio; aunts, Marie Williams and Crezell Turner; Samuel was blessed with 53 grandchildren and 73 great-grandchildren of which two were his partners in crime Cario Johnson and Royce Sampson; and a host of brother and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
