Obituary For Carla Evette "Mama Lean" Godfrey

Graveside service for Carla Godfrey, 52, of Auburn, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 18, 2022, at Mt. Pelia Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 377 Lee Road 78, Camp Hill, AL 36850, Reverend Otis J. Tyner, Jr., Pastor and Reverend Corey Huguley, Eulogist.

Ms. Godfrey, who passed away, Thursday, February 10, 2022 at her home in Auburn, Alabama, was born January 15, 1970 in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Thursday, February 17, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required)

She leaves to cherish her memory: four children, Tevin (Deandra) Godfrey, Yasmine Cox, Terry Robinson and T’ahyra Minnifield all of Camp Hill, AL; five sisters, Nichole Godfrey, April Godfrey both of Camp Hill, AL, Shaquelia Evans of Tampa, FL, Bobbie Ann Johnson of Opelika, AL and Mary (Nate) Thomas of Auburn, AL; five brothers, Timothy Pulliam of Columbus, GA, James (Lisa) Pulliam of Auburn, AL, Roger Woody (Sharon) of Opa-Locka, FL, Curtis Woody (Joyce) of Jacksonville, FL, Edgar Woody (Patricia) of Opelika, AL; special niece, Gabrielle (Devante) Godfrey of Camp Hill, AL; five aunts, Norma Jean Agee, Pauline James, Lucille Davis, Essie Mae Davis and Ossie Davis all of Alexander City, AL; one uncle, Steve Davis of Alexander City, AL; one sister-in-law, Bobbie Woody of Opelika, AL; two special cousins, Mary Francis Dinkins and William Robinson of Waverly, AL; two special friends, Cathy Crayton of Dadeville, AL and Derek Bailey of Lanett, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
