John Henry Moore, 77, of Vanceboro passed Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Riverpoint Crest Rehabilitation Center.
The family appreciates your support during this time, but will not be accepting visitors due to Mrs. Moore's illness.
Viewing hours are 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Friday at Oscar's Mortuary.
The service is 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the Harris Cemetery, Mile Road, Vanceboro.
Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Joyce Moore of the home; step-daughter, Brenda H. Martin, Upper Marlboro, MD; two brothers, Ernest Moore, Columbia, SC and Charles Moore, Waterbury, CT; granddaughter, Nakkia La Joyce Martin and great-grandchild, Jordan Nikolas Martin-Hocker both of Upper Marlboro, MD.
Masks are required and social distancing followed.

Me and my mom had gone to see Uncle Bro and i hug and kiss him so we were sitting at the table and i look at him i said do you know who i am he look at me and said no i said i'm her daughter he look at me and said look she's been my sister all my life and i ain't never seen you a day in my life (๐๐) so i ask him if he knew Pan and BarbaraJean and he look at me and said they my nieces so i said well where are they he said in james city some where(๐) so as i continue to ask him a thousand more questions he says to me look you getting on my nerves ๐๐ i said i don't care ....When my daughter was a little girl my mom had taken her to Vanceboro to visit uncle bro and aunt joyce now i don't know happened there but he told my momma don't never bring her back to his house ๐๐.... Unc i wish you could see this picture of us together since you never seen me before ๐๐well Unc it hasn't been quite three months momma left us but y'all are reunited now ... take your bow...
