A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Rudolph Jackson, Sr. will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33605 with Rev. Dr. Earl B. Mason, Senior Pastor of Bible Base Fellowship Church Temple Terrace, officiating. Visitation will be held for 1 hour (1:00 P.M) prior to the beginning of service. Entombment will follow at the Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery in Thonotosassa, Florida. On Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at the age of 87 years old, Rudolph Jackson, Sr., slipped away to his eternal resting place. Rudolph was born on April 6, 1934, in New York to the late Nice Alston. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Doris Jackson (1996) and his brother Alvin Vincent Grimes (2014). Rudolph was a loving father and brother. He was an anchor to his family and reminded them often of the importance of the Jackson family name. βHe was a giant not only in height but in spirit.β He was a kindhearted person, with a big smile and a good friend to many. He had a firm handshake, partially due to his short career as a boxer. As a child he attended public school and began working at an early age. He held several jobs as a truck driver, warehouse manager and retired from A & P, Shopwell. Rudolph leaves to cherish many memories: 2 sons, Rudolph Jackson, Jr., New York, and Ronald Jackson (Ruth), Florida, and 1 daughter, Lois Jackson, New York. He has 1 grandson, Keith Jackson (Alisha), Florida. He has 6 granddaughters, Clare Jackson and Michella Jackson, Netherlands, Angelique Jackson, Florida, Niasia Lomax and Kalah Lomax, New York, Naketta Barnes (Desmond) North Carolina. He has 5 great-grandchildren, Devin, Nia, Clive, Jamaine and Candace. He also leaves a host of other relatives and special friends including the Key family, the Long family, Tony Kelley and Pleasetta Mason. Rudolph always thanked God for the little things in life. He encouraged his family to pursue a relationship with God and in his last days talked about how he missed attending church in the sanctuary. He served as an usher at his church home, the Bible-Based Fellowship Church of Temple Terrace, Florida and leaves behind his spiritual family from the entire congregation. A SERVICE OF INTEGRITY

Dear grandpa, What am i supposed to tell you, there are way too many things to say. But the first thing that comes to mind is my trip to the USA, i was terribly nervous, and hopping that you and the family would be happy to see me. But from the moment I had arrived the family was warm and welcoming to me, I felt right at home. And there were you, giving me a loving and strong hug, so strong it surprised me, a man you're age still so strong! You were sweet and caring to me, you made sure there was a birthday cake for meπ I loved every second I got to spend with you and to receive your love. My conclusion, Our grandpa is, Handsome, Cool, Strong, Sweet, And take a very long shower π€ Dear grandpa, It breaks my heart knowing I'm not able to see you once more, and that I will never feel that warm and strong hug again. But I'm grateful for the beautiful memories I have with you, Give grandma a kiss from me and tell her that I am doing well. Love you β€ Michella Jackson

I know You are watching over everybody You loved, and we will meet again. Wish all the love and strength for family and friends. Keeping Aunt Lolo and uncle Ronald in my prayers. Grandpa sure was a strong man. I know where I get that strength from. He was always working hard together with Uncle Ronald. And my father Rudy Jackson Jr. ( Jay) used to tell me how his father was still lifting weights in his old days. Words can't describe my feelings right now. Rest in peace, I love You Grandpa.
