Bishop Gardin was more than your average man. More than a Bishop. He was my grandpa. I watched him be the greatest example of all the things he taught us. He wasn't just a preacher of the word of God but a doer as well. He taught me how to love people with God's love. A big chunk of my heart is gone but I know that he is now rejoicing in Heaven. Thank you Mother Gardin and Family for sharing him with the world. He has made a great impact on not only my life but the life of so very many.

To the Gardin family, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this grieving time. What a mighty man of God he was and the legacy of servitude that he has passed down. I enjoyed seeing him each time we were there fellowshipping at the church. Weeping may endure for a night, but Joy cometh in the morning. Rest easy now Sir, until we see you again.
