Obituary For Willie D. "DD" Gilmore

Graveside service for Willie Gilmore, 45, of Opelika, AL, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 11367 Red Road, Auburn, AL 36830, Overseer Calvin Daniel will officiate.

Mr. Gilmore, who passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL, was born August 7, 1976 in Macon County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, January 21, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required) He leaves to che rish his memory: four children, Sidney Brown, Kendrick Brown, April Brown and Willie D. Brown all of Opelika, AL; parents, Willie Fred Gilmore, Sr. of Tuskegee, AL and Sadie Mae Brown Gilmore of Auburn, AL; four sisters, Coffee (Reginald) Byrd, Hattie Gilmore both of Opelika, AL, Deloise (David) Pitts of Auburn, AL and Kissie (Dieudonne) Cebea of Tuskegee, AL; four brothers, Willie Fred Gilmore, Jr., Joseph Graham both of Tuskegee, AL, Willie B. Gilmore of Auburn, AL and DeAndre Gilmore of Auburn, AL; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
