Obituary For Ms. Norma Houston

On June 23, 1950 Norma L. Houston was born to late Miller Evans, Sr., and Theresa T. Evans. On January 8, 2022, in Powder Springs, GA, God plucked a rose from his garden by the name of Norma L. Houston. She was a loving and devoted Mother, Daughter, Grandmother, Great-Mother, sister and friend.

She leaves to cherish her memories Daughters, Meka Evans (Yohannes) Mathyas Sr., and Angeline Frazer (Taurus) Bones; Mother, Theresa T. Evans; Sisters, Rita J. Bush, and Beverly E. (Roy) Walker; Brothers, Charles Thompson, and Miller Evans Jr., who preceded her in death; Devoted Sister-in-law, Mary Evans; Grand-children, Meta LaNorma Evans, Yohannes Mathyas Jr., and O’Marrion Mathyas; Great Grand-children, N’Zari Ugonna, and Nessiah Ugonna; Devoted Niece, Beverly Davis; and also including a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and sorrowing friends.

Viewing will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 3:00 to 5:00PM at the mortuary.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 1:00PM at Walker Memorial Park,611 Laney Walker Blvd., Augusta, GA 30901.

All CDC, social distancing, and face covering guidelines will be observed.
