Obituary For Mr. Fletcher Reviere

Mr. Fletcher Reviere was born on March 3, 1931, to the late Mrs. Annie Lou Dubinon Reviere and the late Mr. Anderson Reviere in Thomaston, Upson County, GA. He attended public school at the Fellowship School. When fletcher reached adulthood, he went to work as most men did during his era. He was employed, as a young adult, at Martha Mills. He was later employed by Coggins Funeral Home for over fifty years. He was involved in many of the day-to day operations that was required of him for funerals services. Fletcher was the father of eleven children and the grandfather of sixty -two; two of his children preceded him in death. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, hunting in his early years, playing checkers, talking about what he knew and didn’t know and telling jokes. He loved to lift up the spirts of his family and friends when they came around. Fletcher was preceded in death by his parents; two children, Richard Reviere and Patrick Reviere ; three brothers, George Reviere, Bennie Floyd Reviere and Harvey Reviere; and three sisters, Lucille Stinson, Bonnell Ellerbee and Virginia Canon. On Tuesday, January 4, 2022, the Lord called his name. He answered the call and went home to be at rest He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Fletcher’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family which includes nine children, Ms. Mary Ann Caldwell, Mr. Fletcher Reviere, Jr., Mr. Calvin Reviere, Mr. Flash Reviere, Ms. Dianne Jordan, Mrs. Angelia (Ronald) Petty, Mr. Thomas (Amber) Jordan all of Thomaston, GA; Mrs. Lavonne (Darnell) Young of Douglasville, GA and Mr. Kavaris Williams of Woodland, GA; twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren; one brother, Mr. Calvin Reverie of Philadelphia, PA; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Mae Cunningham of Thomaston, GA and Mrs. Martha (Charlie) Trice of Columbus, GA; a devoted friend Mr. James Hodo of Thomaston, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Fletcher was preceded in death by his parents; two children, Richard Reviere and Patrick Reviere ; three brothers, George Reviere, Bennie Floyd Reviere and Harvey Reviere; and three sisters, Lucille Stinson, Bonnell Ellerbee and Virginia Canon.
