Ruby E. Jones was born June 24, 1919, in Augusta, Georgia to Claude and Esther Gibson, she was the third of four children. She met and married Willie Warren Jones and to this union seven children were born. Mrs. Jones was a housewife she worked tirelessly to provide a good home and life for her children. She loved spending time in the kitchen cooking delicious meals for her family. She was an exceptional mother and will forever live in our hearts. Mrs. Jones accepted God at an early age, up until she no longer could, she attended Hunter Hill AME Church under the leadership of the Reverend Kemp. Mrs. Jones lived to be 102 with little to minor illnesses during her lifetime. She was a quiet and a gentle soul. She got along with everybody. Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met. On December 21, 2021, God quietly sent his angels, to give her wings as she slept. She was preceded in death by her husband. Willie Warren Jones and five children; Dorothy E. Jones, Nathanial B. Jones, Barbara A, Sims, Bobby W. Jones and Janice L. Jones. Mrs. Jones leaves to cherish her memories two daughters: Edwina Hall (Tyrone) and Alfreda Phillips (Walter). Daughter-in-law Helen Jones and a host of grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great- great grandchildren. A celebration of a life well lived will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 11 AM Alfonso Dawson Mortuary. Interment, Lincoln Cemetery
